Downtown Kirkland is alive with shopping and dining options in a variety of settings. The Village at Totem Lake has several boutique options in addition to well-known stores. With options like Lululemon, Trader Joe’s, and Whole Foods, you’ll find all the things you’re looking for. Plus, with smaller boutiques like Purpose Boutique, which donates a percentage of its sales to Rescue: Freedom International, you’ll get to shop and support a worthy cause. There are also dining options for your enjoyment like Due’ Cucina and Stack 751 Burger and Whisky Bar. There are also spas, fitness centers, a movie theater, and a virtual reality experience to round the options at Totem Lake.
Residents also enjoy the Kirkland Wednesday Market on Lake Street, which offers local and artisanal goods. This market has a selection of locally grown produce, flowers, and honey, plus plenty of food, beverages, crafts, and so much more.
There’s also Kirkland Urban, which provides a selection of dining and shopping options in addition to entertainment. Resident favorite, Cactus, has a variety of delicious Mexican food and tapas plus incredible service and stunning views. Things to Do
Kirkland has so much to offer in a variety of different fields. One of the favorites is spending time on the beach at Juanita Beach Park, enjoying a swim or one of the many playgrounds, volleyball courts, ball fields, and more. There are an exceptional number of parks in the area that make up a good chunk of the city, with plenty of trails, wooded areas, picnic areas, and more.
The city's vibrancy is, in part, thanks to its exceptional art scene, which is made evident with the Kirkland Performance Center. With galleries, art classes, performances, music, and public art showcased around town, residents can find many things to do in their spare time.
